Microsoft offers USD 100.000 for finding mistake in its software

Microsoft offered the reward of USD 100.000 for the ones who succeed in finding security problem in company software, "zimo.dnevnik.hr" portal reports with an estimation that Microsoft is a relatively new player in the industry of rewards for finding mistakes but that he manages well in that field.

As portal reports, it is published superstructure of original program and increased prize for the ones who found security problem in Microsoft software.

The amount can be earned by the one who finds mistake in the company applications qualified for "Bounty for Defense" category which is an increase of 100% compared to initial award which totaled USD 50.000 USD.

At the same time, Microsoft is offering bonus for vulnerability findings with authentication system so the reward will double for any problem found there.

The company did not specify what should be done to win the prize but it mentioned that it is necessary to prove their 1337 skills which does not sound as an easy task "zimo.dnevnik.hr" reports.
