Stock exchange world in Belgrade - assembly of Federation of Euroasian stock exchanges in our city from September 5 to 9

From September 5 to 9, Belgrade will be the host to the 13th annual assembly of Federation of Euroasian Stock Exchanges (FEAS), of which member is Belgrade Stock Exchange. The highest representatives of stock exchanges from Europe and Asia will be the guests of Serbian stock exchange, which will intend to introduce and connect them with the representatives of our companies, broker organizations and media.

The aim is that the guests become familiar with the possibilities of long-term investments in Serbia's capital market, that is, in the most attractive securities. Participants in the meeting will be the guests of the 14th sports games of stock exchanges from central and east Europe, which will compete on September 8 on Ada Ciganlija.

In addition to the highest representatives of stock exchanges that are members of this association, the meeting will be attended by the representatives of international financial organizations, as well as big number of respectable businessmen from all over the world.

Federation of Euroasian Stock Exchanges has 32 members and 9 adjoined members - stock exchanges and other institutions from the financial markets of Europe, Africa and Asia. The Federation was founded by 12 countries, at the Founding Assembly in Istanbul, on May 16, 1995. Headquarters of the Federation is in Istanbul, which also hosts administrative headquarters of the association.

Members of the Federation are countries of the Balkans, Near East, certain countries of former Soviet Union, as well as Mongolia.

Activities of the Federation are focused on improvement of regional cooperation and integration that insures liquidity and creation of efficient and transparent market milieu in the countries members, on harmonization of legal regulations of the countries members and on use of modern technologies in stock exchange operations.

Belgrade Stock Exchange received full-right membership in FEAS at the 10th General Assembly, which was held in September 2004 in Novigrad, Croatia.
