Cacanska banka H1 losses at RSD 149.6 million

Cacanska banka, which was officially taken over by Turkey's Halk bank in early June, said in a release it had made losses of RSD 149.6 million in the first half of the year. This bank turned a profit of RSD 9.7 million in the same period last year.
Revenue from interests in the first six months dropped 11.4% to RSD 805.5 million, but the profit from interests, due to lower expenditures, grew 4.5% to RSD 559.6 million.
Revenue from fees and commissions went up 9% to RSD 317.3 million, whereas the profit from fees and commissions grew 10.2% to RSD 279.5 milllion.
The assets of Cacanska banka were at RSD 30.9 billion at the end of June (down 2.8% in 2015), meaning that the bank's market share in Serbia was approximately 1%.
