Nenad Juhas, Development and Quality Control Manager at Neoplanta - Taking his time

We are used to seeing celebrities, actors or extras with a memorable face hired by companies to advertise their products. However, Neoplanta has taken a different step in its last campaign by choosing a man who participated in the creation of new meat products to advertise them. Nenad Juhas is a new star of Neoplanta's ads, but he is also the development and quality control manager of this company.

Born in Sremska Mitrovica, he finished the grammar school in Sid and graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the capital of Vojvodina. He came to Neoplanta to work as a volunteer veterinarian.

- When I started working at Neoplanta, I had no intention to stay there for a long time, right after graduating from the faculty, working as a volunteer veterinarian at a pig farm, but I am still here. After volunteering for few months, I heard that the company was looking for a veterinarian to hire to manage primary processing in the factory, which was my first job - Nenad Juhas starts the talk with eKapija.

He later changed positions, working as quality control manager and project manager until he assumed the position of development and quality control manager. When asked how his usual working day looks like, he says that, just like all his colleagues managers, he spends most of his time attending meetings on various topics - from projects to current challenges, and working with associates from his sector.

In his opinion, his greatest business success is successfully implemented project aimed at reconstruction and improvement of energy efficiency in the factory.

- It took us three years to finish all the work on facilities and accompanying infrastructure, and during that time we preserved the continuity of production and laid foundations for excellent results our production sector has been achieving over the past two years - says Juhas.

He likes the job he does mainly because of the opportunity to learn and professionally develop through new challenges and projects, improvement of existing processes, and the establishment of new processes and investments.

- People are what makes up every company, so I believe that employees represent the best ambassadors of companies they work for - says Juhas, commenting on his appearance in the advertisement.

This was Juhas' first acting experience and, as he says, probably the last one.

Fisherman

When he closes the door to his office behind him, you can find him by the river. He likes to go fishing even for a day if he cannot stay longer.

- Generally, I am always trying to spend every moment of my leisure time outside the city, in the nature. I love to go fishing or ride a bicycle in the summer and go skiing in the winter.
