New ambassadors by the end of the year
The minister of foreign affairs Ivica Dacic, announces that Serbia will by the end of the year send 30 new ambassadors and general consuls in diplomatic-consular missions.
After more than two years, Serbia will send an ambassador to Germany. President of the Board for foreign affairs at the Assembly of Serbia, Aleksandra Djurovic, explains the delay with the fact it is more important to avoid wrong solutions. Public will soon know who new ambassador will be.
Proposal of the ambassadors in the countries where at the moment there are no appointed ones has been aligned between the Government and president of the Republic of Serbia and will be implemented by the Ministry of foreign affairs, Vuk Fatic from the Presidency of Serbia said.
The minister of foreign affairs, Ivica Dacic, mentions that the procedure for sending 30 new diplomats will start as of tomorrow. And it can sometimes last for more months.
Apart from in Germany, Serbia does not have ambassadors in Croatia, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Cyprus, Greece, Zambia and Indonesia.
