Russia's Taif and Net Oil interested in Petrohemija

Chemical plant in Pancevo is going to be sold to Asians, the daily Novosti reports. Some key parameters related to the sale of Petrohemija were agreed upon in the past few days. Interest in the acquisition of the company in Pancevo has been expressed by two firms - Taif from Kazan and the multinational Net Oil that mainly operates in the Asian market, but is also present in Africa and Europe.

Tatar-based Taif employs 50,000 people, and the core activity of this company is the implementation of investment programs of the greatest significance to the economy of Tatarstan and Russia. The company has 67 partners and primarily focuses on oil and gas refining and petrochemistry, as well as telecommunications, construction, banking, investment, and services.

Aside from finance, the core activity of Net Oil is energy.
