End of Game of Thrones show after Season 8?

President of TV company, HBO Michael Lombardo said at the conference on Thursday that the show will most likely end after Season 8.

- It is a question how many seasons we will do after the seventh one but I think show runners are planning to end it two years after Season 6. As I have previously said, I would really like they change their mind but I think as for now there is no chance for that – Lombardo said.

In some previous interviews it was outlined the show could most likely end after Season 7 but there is an option left to shoot another one.

And, when asked the famous question if John Snow is really dead, Lombardo replied: "Dead, dead, dead. John Snow is dead. All I heard and read with respect to that means only one things – he really is dead".
