Airport in Nis gets aircraft satellite navigation system

Konstantin Veliki Airport in Nis is chosen to represent Serbia as the user of the project of the European Commission to introduce the latest aircraft satellite navigation system that should arrive soon, Mirjana Cizmarov, the director of the Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia, said Wednesday (29 July 2015).

As Cizmarov stressed, the advantage of aircraft satellite navigation systems over instrumental ones lies in the fact that they cannot be broken.

- This system is not even in use by Nikola Tesla Airport yet, and once it arrives in Serbia, and we hope it will be soon, only the airport in Nis will have it - said Cizmarov.
