EBRD is considering loan of EUR 200 m for EPS

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced today it has been considering approval of the loan of up to EUR 200 m for financial restructuring of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS).

As it was published at the website of the creditor, investment of EBRD will be conditioned with agreed plan of overall reforms in EPS which will have significant influence on development, managing and financial efficiency.

Loans will be planned for restructuring and refunding of expensive short-term and mid-term loans which EPS took from business banks to mild and remove consequences of catastrophic floods from 2014, EBRD announced.

The board of the EBRD heads should consider September 30 the approval of the loan for EPS, it was published at the website of the bank.
