Ruma-based Hutchinson starts production in January 2016

President of the Ruma municipality, Sladjan Mancic and one of the heads of French company Hutchinson, Olivie Raymond Andre Sato signed yesterday the contract on transfer of property over the construction land in the industrial zone “West” to investor, the official municipal website reports.

Ruma municipality will provide to French investor 7,8 ha of land where Hutchinson will build a production space of nearly 6.000 m2. The land is provided free of charge based on previous Elaborate on justification of providing construction land..

Ruma-based Hutchinson will produce rubber pipes for cooling devices on cars and will supply Mercedez, Fiat, Suzuki and Reno. This automotive plant will hire 200 unemployed people in Ruma.

Completion of works is planned for September while production would start in January next year.

The value of investment in Ruma has been estimated at EUR 7,3 m. Ruma-based production department will be the only kind of a window which will, in a decent way, present French producer, Hutchinson claims.
