Big fireworks held in Tokyo – during a 90 minutes event 22.000 rockets fired

The biggest fireworks was held in Tokyo, Japan, during which a total of 22.000 rocketes, out of which around 3.000 in the big finale.

“Fireworks at the river Sumida”, on Saturday night, which lasted for an hour and a half, gathered more than 750.000 spectators from the capital and its surroundings. With 2.000 rockets more than in 2006, and in this year’s fireworks there was set a record of all times in the number of fired rockets.

At the end of July, and at the beginning of August, by the end of the rainy season, each year there is a series of big fireworks, out of which the biggest is at the river Sumida in Tokyo, which is seen every year by 700.000 to 1.000.0000 people.
