Chinese company interested in Zelezara Smederevo

Vucic reminded that the government stopped setting subsidies aside for Zelezara Smederevo and that it has been gradually recovering headed by new management and that production doubled to some 90.000 tons of steel per month.

The Prime Minister announced also that by the end of the year, the second high furnace in Zelezara Smederevo should be put into operations and that it will generate new 90.000 tons of steel per month and new incentive for Serbian economy development.

Dutch "HPK engineering" signed March 21 the contract with the Government of Serbia on management and consulting for Zelezara Smederevo.
