Sale of Tanjug and 37 other media companies in Serbia announced

The Agency for privatization released public calls for collecting offers for sale of 38 state-owned media companies Serbia-wide. For every media, the Agency released terms to participate in the process, data on media company, initial price and deadline and method for submission of offers.

Among media companies under hammer, Belgarde’s press agency "Tanjug", estimated at EUR 760.936 is under hammer as well.

The right to participate is entitled to physical and legal entities as well as consortiums which can aply until July 30 latest until 3 p.m. in line with detailed procedure.

Fee for purchase of sale documentation is RSD 100.000 and opening of offers will be carried out August 3 at the offices of the Agency for privatization in Belgrade.

Companies under hammer are also "Radio Požarevac", "Radio-televizija Kruševac", "Radio Raška", "Ivanjički radio", "Radio Subotica", "Radio televizija Bačka Palanka", Javno preduzeće za informisanje "Šumadija" iz Aranđelovca, "Radio televizija Šabac", "Radio televizija Kragujevac", "RTV Pruga" iz Lajkovca, "Niška televizija", "Reč radnika" from Aleksinac, "Radio Medveđa", "Radio-televizija Pančevo" and "Javno radiodifuzno i TV preduzeće Petrovac na Mlavi".

Apart from that, calls have also been released for "Informativni centar" Bački Petrovac, "Informativni press centar" from Vladičin Han, "Televiziju Blace", "Radio Valjevo", "Radio Sečanj", Javno informativno preduzeće "Novi put" iz Jagodine, "BC info", Bela Crkva, "Radio Bačka", "Radio-televizija Brus", "Radio i televizija Trstenik", city information center "Apolo" Novi Sad, "Radio televizija Inđija", PC for information "Novi Pazar", Novi Sad-based "Dnevnik", "Televizija Požega" and "Radio televizija Caribrod" Dimitrovgrad.

The interested will be able to become owners of "Radio Požege", "TV Ljiga", "Centrar za informisanje Kneževac", "Radio Šida", "Radio televizije Stara Pazova" and "Radio Pirota" as well.
