Whoever rides bicycle to work gets salary raise

Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski announced that all administrative workers riding a bicycle to work would get a 3% salary raise, Beta news agency reports.

The public company Gradski Parking has set up bicycle rental points in several locations in Skopje.

- We want to raise people's awareness of the importance of bicycle riding. Our opinion is that the number of cyclers in Macedonia will grow from current 1% to 3% in 2017 and 5% in 2020 - said Trajanovski.

Thanks to the latest donation of the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Macedonia that gave away 35 bicycles to the city, which can be rented at bicycle rental points around the city, Gradski Parking now has 250 bicycles for rent.
