Serbian tourists should not travel to Greece without cash, economic adviser in the Serbian government, Vladimir Krulj, said today and underlined that the citizens of Greece had withdrawn EUR 2 billion from their bank accounts since in the period between June 18 and 28.
Commenting on last night's proposal of the Greek Council for Financial Stability and this morning's decision of the president and prime minister to keep banks in Greece closed over the next six working days, Krulj told RTS that most of wealthy Greeks had started transferring their money to accounts outside the country after Syriza took the reins.

The economic adviser to the Serbian minister of EU integration pointed to the difference between the positions of Germany and Austria on one side and France on the other, specifying that the French finance minister noted that "Greek possible exit from the eurozone would bring the EU to an unknown ground," which would not be good for the EU, financial markets and Greece.

- When you have a unique monetary market and one member of that monetary community leaves it, this causes a systemic problem that spreads across the entire market and all countries that are part of that market - Krulj warned.
