Construction of potable water treatment facility in Zrenjanin underway

Italian company "Zilio" delivered to PUC "Vodovod i kanalizacija" a preliminary design for potable water treatment facility, it was confirmed for "Dnevnik" from Zrenjanin-based utility company.

In line with the dynamic plan, defined in the contract which was signed with the Italians February 12 this year, situation plan of the facility which will be constructed at the lot for that purpose assigned to "Grupa Zilio" was delivered together with the preliminary design with the decision of the Assembly of the City of Zrenjanin. Work dynamics defined in the contract implies that after completion of project documentation, water treatment facility construction follows.

The mayor of Zrenjanin, Cedomir Janjic, says for "Dnevnik" that delivery of preliminary design practicaly means that citizens of the town at the Begej will have healthy potable water in the city water supply system by the end of this year as it was previously promised.
