"Neoplanta" obtained "HACCP" international certificate for export of beef

Meat Industry "Neoplanta" from Novi Sad has officially obtained certificate "HACCP", the international food safety standard, for export of beef and meat products to the markets of developed countries in the West.

On that occasion, General Manager Momir Jovanović said that that was the end of one phase of modernization of the factory in which few million euros had been invested in the past few years.

According to his words, after the new line for slaughter and beef processing, the only thing left is completion of reconstruction of the storage space.

- Once these works are completed, in three months at the latest, we will be able to invite domestic inspectors and inspectors from European Union, after which, as we expect, we should get so-called export number - Jovanović added.
