British eco rent-a-car arrives in Serbia - Green Motion sells franchise to Budget Rent-a-Car

Green Motion inked an agreement in early June to sell franchise in Serbia. In that way, the British system will expand its rent-a-car service to 19 countries. The franchisee in Serbia will be a company with experience - Mega Trio Rent, which already operates as a rent-a-car company, while the brand development will be entrusted to Branislav Djurdjic, who gained experience working at the Budget Rent-a-Car company and as a representative of rent-a-car brands of the National/Alamo Group.

We are sure that they will successfully continue to develop the service we're providing to our clients and prop intensive growth of our company in the Balkans and Europe - said Richard Lowden, the founder and general manager of Green Motion.
As it was announced, Green Motion will first offer rent-a-car service in two locations in Belgrade – Nikola Tesla Airport and Belgrade Arena. What makes this company different from others of the kind is the fact that it will be the only rent-a-car company in Serbia to offer vehicles with low emission of harmful gases.
Green Motion was established in 2007. They sold the first franchise in 2011 for the territory of Mexico. One year later, in 2012, they entered the markets of Malta and Cyprus. In 2013, new franchisees were found in Italy, Iceland and Turkey. By 2015, their franchise network spread to Belgium, Costa Rica, Finland, Greece, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and the USA. In addition to Serbia, Green Motion has franchises in two more countries of this region - Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.
