Investment fund KKR offers solution to problem of non-performing loans in Serbia

Serbian Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic said Tuesday that the investment fund KKR offered a solution to the problem of non-performing loans (NPL), which is adapted to fit concrete situation and conditions in Serbia, and the idea is to "attack" the management of companies that do not repay loans.

As Vujovic said at the 15th Economic Summit, KKR is offering an adapted solution as an opposite to the solutions offered by other large companies that are expensive and ineffective when it comes to bad loans.

According to Vujovic, KKR is one of the biggest investment funds which acquired SBB in Serbia for RSD 1.5 billion. As he added, it is a company that comes to invest big money and always plays safe.
