Tenders for rehabilitation of roads - 10m EUR

Manager of "Putevi Srbije", Branko Jocić, announced that the tenders for rehabilitation of several roads in Serbia would be announced on Wednesday, July 18. These works will be financed from the funds of the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development.

- The roads that will be reconstructed are Stopanja-Kruševac, Stopanja-Trstenik and Ušće-Biljanovac, and the value of the project is 10m EUR - Jocić explained at the press conference.

Minister of Finance, Mirko Cvetković, said that the preliminary analyses had showed that the money set aside from the budget for rehabilitation of roads was not enough, so that the initiative had been started for increase in percentage of excise taxes directed to maintenance of roads.
