Excellent concert by "Rolling Stones" in Belgrade - more than 50,000 people on Ušće

Belgrade has been shaken by the bigger rock bang! Rock dinosaurs "Rolling Stones", for the first time in their 45-year-long career, in front of about 50,000 people, played in our capital and showed why they are considered the greatest "rock n`roll" band in the world.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts ran onto the largest stage in the world, pretty much like a space ship (100 m wide, 30 m high and 30 m deep), exactly at 21,30 h. They started to play "Start Me Up", and the audience on Ušće, just like somebody ordered them to, raised their mobile phones to record this historical moment. After the second song, "You Got Me Rockin", Mick Jagger greeted all present in fluent Serbian language.

- Dobro veče Srbija. Zdravo Beograd! (Good evening Serbia. Hello Belgrade!) - said Jagger and sang "Rough Justice", after which he spoke again to the public, reading from a paper:

- Fala vam lepo. Presrećni smo što smo ovde. Konačno smo stigli (Thank you very much. We are happy for being here. We have finally arrived).

Hit after hit, all the way until 23.22 h. The audience called "Rolling Stones" back in stage, and they returned and played "Brown Sugar". The guys from the band that took a bow, and the fireworks followed. Big "rock n`roll" circus departed for Bucharest, while "Rolling Stones" headed towards "Hyatt" hotel.
