Export of 600 kg of sweet cherries moves from Cacak to Russia

Fruit grower from Miokovac, Darko Toplaovic, collected 600 kg of fruit from only fifteen trees of sweet cherries which have already been in truck to Russia and he plants his cultivation in line with the most modern technologies.

He says that for years he has been exporting to that market since it has excellent quality. According to Topalovic, he treats a part of the orchard with 33 sweet cherry trees in line with "Agrocvet" defines food, protection and everything that goes with this fruit growing.

- This means foliar food, watering drop by drop and nitrogen two times. Despite the fact there has been plenty of rain, fruit has not been damaged and leaf is very big – he says for Tanjug.

Topalovic is one of the leading fruit growers from this region and he has only a hectare of sweet cherry cultivation. He says this year’s harvest is not too big but it is pretty much equal and quality is the one to wish for.
