"Actavis" and "Allergan" joined forces - As of June, they will operate as a single company

Pharmaceutical giants "Allergan" and "Actavis"
will operate in Serbia as of June 1 as a single company, "Actavis" announced. This merge will
provide patients in Serbia with the latest therapies in treatment of a large
number of diseases and disturbances:.
"Actavis" will, in Serbia, after this merge, become a leader in production
of preparation u used in treatment of skin aging problem and other aesthetic
purposes.
Dr.Pavle Marjanovic, the head at "Actavis" for Serbia and the Adriatic region outlined that during 2015 this unique company will invest significant funds in research and development of drugs so that patients would be provided new with new innovative drugs and so that they would also expand portfolio of more accessible generic drugs.
Merge of these two companies opens new options for Lekovac-based "Zdravlje" which, with its successful operations in line with all business indicators in its category, won the Actavis’ Plant of the year award in 2014
- Thanks to new products, we have significantly increased production scope and opened vacancies for more than 100 newly hired in Leskovac so that we could respond to demands of local and increasing international markets where we export 70% of our total production - Bojan Jovic, GM at "Zdravlje Actavis" said.
