"MK Group" and EBRD signed contract on construction of one of largest and most modern silos in Ukraine

President of "MK Group", Miodrag Kostić, and the representative of European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development (EBRD), Kamen Zaharijev, signed the contract today (July 12, 2007) in Kijev on construction of one of the largest and most modern silos in Ukraine - that company announced.

EBRD will finance construction of that silo, of which capacity will be 113,000 tons, with 10m EUR, and the silo will be built in the place of Jagotin, in the region of Kijev.

"MK Group", the largest manufacturer and exporter of agricultural products in Serbia, successfully started expansion of operations in Ukraine last year through company "Agro Invest Ukraine", which currently cultivates 35,000 ha of lan in the regions of Kijev, Vinič, Čerkaš and Poltava.

So far, 17m EUR has been invested in purchase of agricultural companies, modern agricultural machines, related equipment and capital funds, and the company expects total income in amount of 14.5m EUR in 2007.

By the end of this year, "MK Group" plans to take more than 100,000 ha of land in Ukraine.
