"Telekom Srbije" introduces wireless landline telephony in Montenegro

New Montenegrin mobile operator M:tel, property of "Telekom Srbije" and Dutch Ogalar, announced that it would soon start to introduce wireless landline telephony in Montenegro.

This week, M:tel started with work in Montenegro by offering the lowest prices in Serbia, Montenegro and Republic of Srpska.


The company invested 50m EUR in Montenegro within three months, major part of which was invested in infrastructure, main phone exchange and base stations.

Executive Manager of M:tel, Zlatko Trhulj, said that that company would very soon include services of wireless landline telephony, which will be connected via radio link, in the offer for the users.

- Landline phones will be wireless and neither canals will be dug for them, nor cables will be needed - Trhulj explained.
