Import fees for milk and yoghurt

In order to prevent increased imported milk and milk products export endangering local production, the Government introduced variable levies on import of milk import, cream and yoghurt, "Blic" finds out.

Variable levies, i.e. import tax which vary RSD 15 to 20 per liter, i.e. per kilogram will be valid until the end of the year.

As of April 1, export of European producers of milk and dairy products to all markets was increased. In the EU countries, namely, quote with which milk and dairy products is limited was cancelled.

The Government informed on EC authorities on increased milk and dairy products import but as for now, it has not been familiar whether official Brussels accepted statements and proofs of Belgrade that our market encountered milk and dairy products import.

It is even more for the fact that a number of producers in the previous months increased their retail process.
