Government of Serbia approved absorption of seven companies to EPS

On Friday, May 29, 2015, the Government of Serbia approved the Decision of absorption of seven liable companies for production of electricity and coal to the PC Electric Power Industry of Serbia as a mother company as well as the Decision of set up of operator of distribution system "EPS Distribucija".

With the implementation of unique management and alignment of business processes and procedures, terms are created that EPS becomes more efficient and profitable firm, the Ministry of mining and energy announced.

EPS started a huge reorganization and reform whose final result must be a stable and successful company, it was stated in the announcement and outlined it is about the process in line with the Conclusion of the Government of Serbia from November 2014, where all deadlines were fulfilled.

We would like to outlined, as it was stated, that the commitment of everybody in the Government is to provide Serbia with better future and a part of the future, without any dilemma, is strong Electric Power Industry of Serbia but it has to be better organized than it is now.

The objective if that EPS becomes a world organized group with clearly defined activities of production, supplying and distribution, it was stated in the announcement.
