Serbia's public debt totals EUR 24 billion

Serbia’s total public debt at the end of April this year was EUR 24 billion which is 72,3% country’s GDP, the Ministry of Finance announced.

At the end of March 2015, it totaled EUR 24,19 billion which was 73,3% GDP.

Direct country’s commitments at the end of April totaled EUR 21,5 billion and indirect 2,5 billion.

In late 2000, public debt was EUR 14,billion or 201,2% GDP and the lowest public debt was in 2008 when it totaled EUR 8,78 billion or 28,3% GDP.
