Belgrade would like to resemble Barcelona - City and Skijalista Srbije signed Protocol on construction of gondola in two stages

The mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali and the acting head at Skijalista Srbija, Dejan Ljevnajic, signed on Friday a Protocol on cooperation in implementation of the project for the construction of cabin cable car-gondola in Belgrade.

The first cable car of that type in the capital should go from Novi Beograd, across Ada Ciganlija and Makis to Kosutnjak, Mali specified at the Stari dvor.

The Protocol, as he outlined, implies set up of working group which will in the next three months develop study to see whether it is possible to implement it and the funds essential for this project .

He announced the umbrella plan is to conduct project in two stages.

He specified the gondola capacity would be3.000 passengers per hour.
