"Hilton" for sale at price of 26 billion USD

"Hilton" hotel group announced that it had agreed to be bought by private investment corporation "Blackstone" for 26 billion USD. Thus, "Hilton" will become part of history as the subject of record sale of company.

The Administrative Board of company "Hilton" says that this transaction brings great benefits for stockholders, because it brings significant bonus.

Among the rest, "Blackstone" owns 100,000 hotel rooms in USA and Europe. Hilton owns or manages 2,800 hotels with 480,000 rooms in 76 countries.

"Blackstone" says that it will place large investments in "Hilton" and that it does not plan any significant changes in very successful business operations of that hotel chain.
