Profit of Alfa plam in the first quarter jumped four times

Vranje-based "Alfa plam" published financial results for the January-March period of current year where last years’ increasing business trend continued.

"Alfa plam" generated business profit of USD 668,8 m which is 16,1% more compared to the same period last year. Local market provided greater contribution to growth since sale jumped by 34,3%, while at the foreign market which comprises 60% of result, sale increased by 5,2%. In the first quarter, "Alfa" generated production which totaled RSD 1,33 billion which is 1,9% less compared to the plan i.e. 18,1% more compared to the same period last year "Wisebroker" reports.

Business profit of "Alfa plaa" in the first three months reached RSD 69,2 m while net profit jumped almost four times to RSD 107,5 m. Shares of "Alfa plam" are one of the biggest winners in current year with a leap of36,5%, while at the last price of RSD 26.001, company’s market capitalization totals RSD 4,5 billion (EUR 37,7 m).
