Syria interested in beech wood from Serbia

Minister of Agriculture, Slobodan Milosavljević, Ambassador of Syria to Serbia, Majed Šadodud, and representatives of Public Company "Srbijašume" came to conclusion that there is interest in broadening economic cooperation between Serbia and Syria and increase in foreign-trade exchange.

At the meeting in "Srbijašume", the subject of which was establishment of closer business contacts between Serbian and Syrian companies, the possibility of larger export of breech wood from Serbia, basic raw material for furniture production, was pointed out.

- Wood-processing industry would process beech wood into timber, which would be then delivered to Syria - "Srbijašume" announced.
