Q1 2015 sees big increase in net profit of Nikola Tesla airport

The "Nikola Tesla" airport announced this year’s Q1 business results. Company’s business profit increased by 8,8% to RSD 1,7 billion compared to the same period last year.

Since business expenditures decreased for more than RSD 200 m, business profit of the Airport at the end of the first three months this year totaled RSD 703,6 m so it almost doubled compared to the comparative period.

Company’s net profit of almost RSD 1,9 billon is practically incomparable to last year’s result of only RSD 53,7 m, "Sinteza Invest Group" reports.

The difference is due to, apart from better company’s business results, the fact that March 31 this year, the Public debt directorate of the Republic of Serbia executed settlement of the second part of claims to "Air Serbia" totaling RSD 2,1 billion, where the amount of RSD 1,89 billion was registered as profit of Q1 2015, based on settled correction of values of claims from Air Serbia, which charged company’s expenditures 2012 and 2013, based on correction of value of mentioned claims.

Public debt directorate of the Republic of Serbia carried of settlement of the first part of debts to Air Serbia totaling RSD 2,1 billion December 29 last year.
