"IGB Automotive" is planning new production department expansion in Indjija

Thus, before the meeting in Stara Pazova, president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez, and president of the Srem chamber of commerce, Djordje Bozic, with associates visited "IGB Automotive comp" from Indjija, the company announced.

After a short meeting with the company management and tour of the production department, they concluded the options and importance of the chamber system is a very important factor for business environment development in Serbian economy. Modernization and reorganization of the Serbian chamber system in line with the model of developed countries, based on principals of efficiency, rationalization and functional job division, will definitely contribute o better business environment and greater interest of foreign investors.

- I am proud of the things done in Indjia in the previous seven years, On the annual basis, approximately 200 people is hired so at the production department here, more than 1300 people work. It can be foreseen that in mid-term period, 2000 people will be hired here. New production department has not been used with its full capacity yet so they are planning construction of the new part of the plant in order o expand the existing one – company owner, Josef Hilmer said. He added the investment in Serbia is successful story they would like to continue.
