Wine Forum – nice Hungarian wines on tour in Serbia

Under patronage of Hungarian Embassy, on Friday, June 3, 2005, in Diplomacy Club in Belgrade, the fair named Wine Forum was held.

The guests were presented the most significant Hungarian wine manufacturers, laureates of prestigious awards and certificates for quality from the areas rich with vineyards: Tokaj, Villany, Szekszard. Peasant costumes, authentic Hungarian national music, cheeses and top-quality wine, conjured up Hungarian style and way of drinking up of this popular drink.

Besides the representatives of media, Minister of Trade and Tourism in the Government of Republic of Serbia, Bojan Dimitrijević, as well as Hungarian ambassador to SCG, Mr Jozsef Pandur talked to the guests. Minister, Bojan Dimitrijević, said that that was the opportunity for closing of gap between the two neighboring countries, as well as for international exchange of wine and other products. He welcomed Hungarian wines to Serbia and expressed wish that the best Serbian wines would find the way to Hungarian market.

Ambassador of Hungary to SCG expressed his satisfaction with organization of that forum and wished that there were more of the kind for the sake of establishment of stronger commercial, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.

The main goal of this meeting was finding of potential distributors of wine in Serbia and Montenegro, which would be agents or buyers of famous Hungarian wines.
