"PVV-Jagodina", new firm of "Werner&Weber" enterprise, took over all workers of Public Company "Standard" and became main public utility company in Jagodina

Austrian company "Werner&Weber" has signed the contract with Town Hall of Jagodina on carrying out public utility activities of trash collecting and disposal, waste treatment, as well as on construction and management of the Regional center for selection of communal solid waste, that is, recycling.

On that occasion, new company "PVV – Jagodina" was formed, and Austrian partner took over all workers of local Public Utility Company "Standard".

Contracted investment is worth 14m EUR and, according to the words of Manager Antun Šramel, primary goal of the newly formed company is to meet European environment protection standards and to carry out disposal and treatment of waste with top-quality equipment and in a modern way.

"PVV" donated two new special vehicles for transport of trash to the new dump on location Gigoš. Also, new containers have been presented for the people who live in buildings, as well as those larger ones that will be located next to industrial facilities.

Concerning those citizens of Jagodina who live in their private houses, every household will get special plastic cans on wheels. New containers will also be placed in villages, so that creation of illegal dumps could be avoided.
