July to see Dutch VNB Knitting opening knitwear plant in Grdelica

The mayor of Leskovac, Goran Cvetanovic and co-owner of Dutch "VNB Knitting" Klas Veijera have signed today agreement on cooperation and opening of production of knitwear in Grdelica.

Dutch company announced that in July in Grdelica it will open production of knitwear products and that ten people will be employed.

-In July, we will hire ten people but by the end of 2016 headcount will total 100. We are planning production of 50.000 to 70.000 clothing items and major part will be exported to the Netherlands and EU countries – Vellera says.

Knitwear department in Grdelica will be in former state-owned plant "Danilo Boskovic" which the town got from the Government of Serbia.

Dutch company in the previous few years has been cooperating with two family companies in Leskovac and Lebane.
