Works on Bar-Boljari highway started

Infrastructure project of the century in Montenegro, construction of the Bar – Boljare higway, has officially started today and Chinese company , CRBC is building the first section.

Montenegrin minister of traffic, Ivan Brajovic, hosted delegation of the Ministry of trade of NR China, headed by deputy head at the Foreign investments department Jou Jensheng who congratulated him on a successful start of works on the Smokovac - Uvac – Mateševo section , RTCG reported.

Construction of priority section from Smokovac to Matesevo will last for four years.

Preparation works have started and everything is ready for assembly of houses where Chinese workers will be placed at the Moracica settlement.

By August, CRBC should build administration building where engineers and designers will be located, 100 of them currently in Montenegro, "Dnevne novine" reports.

The works will be carried out in three staged and the biggest attention will be paid to the most demanding request i.e. construction of the Moracica bridge, one kilometer long whose main pillar of 180 m will be the record in height in the Balkans.
