MEP and EBRD took over Belgrade-based SBB

Company "Mid Europa Partners" (MEP), in cooperation with European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development (EBRD), has completed the takeover of the majority package of stocks of company SBB from Belgrade from investment fund "Southeast Europe Equity Fond" (SEEF), which is managed by "Bedminster
Capital Management".
"Mid Europa Partners" is a company with the headquarters in London. It controls one of the largest funds for investments in central and east Europe.
The investors in the Fund are, except for EBRD, the World Bank, European Investment Bank (EIB), as well as many leading world insurance companies, banks and pension funds.
UniCredit bank group provided credits for transaction, as well as for future growth of company SBB.
SBB is the leading cable and broadband internet
operator in Serbia, as well as the largest provider of satellite "direct to home"
service, also known as "cable through satellite", on the territory of former Yugoslavia.
