The management of AHA Mura Prvi Maj announced Wednesday that investors from Turkey had given up the acquisition of the factory, adding they had received concrete offers to rent out production facilities, which would be the final solution and the last attempt to save that factory with 1,700 employees who had not received salary for ten months.

- Representatives of the ministry informed all attendees of the last meeting that the prospective buyer from Turkey was not interested in buying the company, and the management then introduced them to their plan to rent out production facilities before filing for bankruptcy as a last resort to resolve the status of Aha Mura Prvi Maj - Tanjug reports.

- This proposal was backed by both Economy Ministry and the representatives of all trade unions - it is said in a release which also reads that a preliminary agreement on the lease of production facilities of Pirot-based textile plant has already been prepared.
