"IBM" signed five-year agreement on intentions with Mathematical Institute SANU

Company "IBM" Serbia and Mathematic Institute SANU from Belgrade signed the five-year agreement on intentions yesterday (June 26, 2007), which gives authorizations to the Institute to organize educational IT programs based on IBM methodology, products and solutions.

This, already well-known, academic initiative has been designed to prepare graduate students for careers in multidisciplinary fields, including broad university approach with the latest "IBM" technologies and practice.

Besides, "IBM" will include Mathematic Institute in its program of academic initiative, which enables students to have access to all products of IBM software.

- The Agreement on intentions signed with Mathematic Institute is a part of our strategy for giving support to young people in Serbia by enabling them access to the latest "IBM" technologies and products. We in "IBM" are satisfied with becoming part of such significant partnership with the respectable university from this country – said Miloš Đurković, General Manager of "IBM" in Serbia.

The contract was signed by Miloš Đurković, General Manager of "IBM" Serbia and Prof. Dr. Zoran Marković, the Manager of Mathematic Institute SANU.
