Urgent decisions for continuation of construction of the Zezelj Bridge adopted

The Assembly of the City of Novi Sad yesterday adopted three decisions which enable that funds from Provincial budget are directed to city budget where from payment for construction completion of the Zezelj bridge will be done.

The members of the city parliament adopted the text of the Annex to the contract dated January 25, 2011, text of the Contract on method of transfer of funds for the project "Construction of the Zezelj Bridge across the Danube in Novi Sad" and proposal of decision on method of implementation of funds of AP Vojvodina with respect to continuation of the bridge construction.

For these three decisions, 59 out of 63 present members voted while four of them from the Serbian Radical party did not participate in voting.

The mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, said that the adoption of these decisions is a proof that the City of Novi Sad put maximal efforts to enable continuation and ending of the Zezelj bridge construction.

He added that after adoptions of decisions at the Assembly of the City of Novi Sad, signing of Annex to the contract follows which should happen right after the May holiday.
