ABB in Serbia actively participated in the second international trade exhibition and conference RENEXPO Western Balkans, held in Belgrade on April 22-23, which brought together 60 exhibitors from 12 countries in the region, ABB said in a release.
The main topics that were represented at the fair were energy efficiency, biomass, wind, solar and hydro power. During the event, projects for these topics were presented, as well as activities in the energy sector of the region and B2B meetings were held between managers and leaders in this field in terms of future projects and collaboration.
In addition to ABB's exhibition stand where the other exhibitors and visitors had the opportunity to talk to their colleagues and get more information about ABB equipment, implemented projects and future plans, the visitors had the opportunity to attend the presentation held by ABB’s engineer Milos Markovic from Discrete Automation and Motion Division on topic "Energy efficiency" at "Open Forum" conference program.
One of the ways how ABB can help its customers reduce their electricity consumption and the environmental impact, is a project called "Energy Appraisal" that presents a systematic review and analysis of the respective drive system.
- As a result of the Energy Appraisal, ABB customers receive a report in the form of short study, including detailed information about the operation, application and configuration of the existing system, proposed technical solutions to improve energy efficiency, as well as an estimate of potential savings and return on investment - said engineer Milos Markovic.
