MIHAJLOVIC: Corridor 10 to be completed by the end of 2016

Corridor 10 will be completed by the end of 2016 and there are sufficient funds for the project, VP of the Government and the minister of construction, traffic and infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, has said today.

When touring the section of the Corridor 10, Vladicin Han - Donji Neredovac, Mihajlovic said that over the past year, 58 kilometers of road has been asphalted and it was planned that this year 120 km more are asphalted, 70 km of which of the highway.

Upon an anniversary of the work of that ministry, Mihajlovic outlined that during the previous year in Serbia, there are 10 times more construction works than during previous 10 years and said it must continue so that Serbia would become an important transit country.

She outlined that funds for Corridor 10 were provided, apart from the last eight kilometers and expects that it will be agreed in the next month.

The minister said the funds are not an issue but that the problem was managing and supervision of projects and outlined that within the resource ministry there is a special project management department which deals with the issues.

-The Vladicin Han - Donji Neredovac section is a good example of how the works are carried out within deadline and on that section 60 % of works have already been done - Mihajlovic said, reminding that contractor is Greek company "Terna".
