"Leopold Prvi" in Petrovaradin fortress – attractive hotel in Novi Sad receives first guests after renovation

Former hotel "Varadin" in Petrovaradin fortress, now "Leopold I", was opened yesterday (June 21, 2007), after more than six months of intensive works.
- We can proudly say that we managed to give some completely new tone to this facility, which is over 300 years old – said Manager Kosta Kliska.
- Hotel has about 15 mansions and total of 76 rooms and suites - said Kliska and added that the large balcony of "officers’ pavilions", with Asiatic and Italian restaurant and the restaurant with Serbian national cuisine, complemented the offer and wealth of contents of hotel "Leopold I".
The businessman from Novi Sad, Ratko Buturović, who also owns "Park", the first five-star hotel in Novi Sad, invested more than 6.5m EUR in "Leopold I".
