Markotic noted that economic cooperation between Serbia and Croatia was continuous, pointing out that the 2014 trade between the two countries amounted to about EUR 700 million.
- Based on previous investments totaling about EUR 360 million, Serbia is the third largest investment destination for Croatia - Markotic said at a reception held by Kragujevac Mayor Radomir Nikolic.
After the meeting with the Croatian ambassador, Nikolic said that the City of Kragujevac was preparing new industrial zones at the city entrance and that he was serious counting on investments and cooperation with businessmen from Croatia.
Nikolic asked about the possibility of selling the holiday hostel in Gradac, at the Croatian seaside, which is owned by the City of Kragujevac, and the Croatian ambassador answered that that issue was to be resolved in a talk between the presidents of the two countries.
Delegation of the Croatian Embassy in Serbia ended the visit to Kragujevac with a tour of Sumarice Memorial Park and 21. oktobar Museum.
