Goat milk production unit opened in Inđija – investment worth 80m RSD

The unit for production and refinement of goat milk of company “Selekt-Gas” was opened yesterday (June 20, 2007) in Inđija. This company plans to refine more than 2m liters of quality milk on annual basis and to realize annual income of about 2.6m EUR.

Total value of the investment is about 80m RSD. The funds were invested by the Provincial Secretariat for Science and Technological Development, which set aside 35m RSD intended for starting of production and application of new technologies.

The unit for goat milk production and refinement is based on its own production of milk from high-quality goats, as well as on modern Italian technology of milk refinement and production of dairy products by HACCAP standard.
