Consortium "Filmski put" is the only one to pay deposit essential to participate at the auction sale of Avala film due for Wednesday, at 12, Danas finds out, It is the company with French and American capital as well as some banks ready to follow new investment.

The base of the decision to step into the purchase procedure of Avala film is a business plan of consortium and banks, based first of all on announced law on tax incentives for foreign producers if they shoot in Serbia – the Consortium says and outlines they were set up “solely for the purposes of investing in movie industry”.

Apart from that, they revealed that the business plan also comprises the same team of producers which succeeded to bring to Belgrade shooting of movies such as "Three days for killing" with Kevin Costner and "November man" with Pierse Brosnan.

According to the information Danas got, documentation of participation at the auction of Avala film was purchased by three potential buyers but two other did not pay deposit which enables participation. The company is to be sold as a legal entity after a four-year bankruptcy.
