Contract with Hutchinson signed in Ruma - Job for 200 people

The contract on transfer of property over the land in the territory of Ruma municipality which went from the ownership of the Republic of Serbia to the authority of local self-governance was signed at the City house. It is the first step towards the implementation of new investment in this year, local self-governance communicated.

A lot on 7,86 ha will be given to world famous French company, Hutchinson which wants to build production department in the Industrial zone "Zapad". Hutchinson, a producer of rubber components for car industry, within this investment totaling EUR 7,3 m should open 200 new vacancies.

-In the next three days, we will register land at the Real estate registry. By the end of April, a meeting of the Municipal assembly of Ruma, where decision on letting land will be verified and then in early Mar, contract signing with Hutchinson, after which construction of production facility would start - Sladjan Mancic, municipal president expects.

The head of the Republic Directorate for property, Jovan Vorkapic, thinks good business environment in Ruma deserves all the praises but that something like that cannot happen over the night.
