"Ashmore" plans to have completely new meat packing factory built in Vrbas prior to end of 2009

The new owner of Meat Industry "Carnex", the London "Ashmore", investment funds management company, of which capital is worth 2.3 billion GBP, plans to have completely new factory built in Vrbas prior to the end of year 2009.

According to the words of the deputy general manager of this company, Jovo Šćepanović, it is now only a plan, but the production capacities that exist now, and "Carnex" plans to have them built, cost about 50m EUR.

As Šćepanović pointed out, construction of accompanying facilities will not be needed, because this meat packing factory already possesses them.

"Ashmore" is the owner of 92.15% of stocks of "Carnex".
